I’ve also seen both American and Japanese AI soldiers moving around, running, shooting, and whatever in the Pacific campaign. They really do work. If they would add these AI infantry units to Ground forces to act like the Ground units in Air Battles, we can have some great tank matches. Infantry support doctrine tanks, like Japanese and American ones, can play to their strenghts when they have engage and defend infantry forces and fortified positions.

in dynamic campaign in the tank bombing missions, i have been shot by enemy infantry before… they killed my pilot -_- it was with a swordfish but still….

they are so detailed but why does war thunder never use them for most of their maps? ( some of the maps you can find some standing next to AA and AAA gun emplacements)

They have confirmed that they will add ships, and already have tanks and planes, if they add infantry… I will never have to play anything ever again.

War Thunder is a vehicle game. They won’t add infantry. The ai infantry are put into the game to make it more realistic.
