Flight Simulator 2020

Miami (Florida, USA) in Microsoft Flight Simulator Release version

Welcome, Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review.
This is the release version, 1.7.12.0. on launch on August 18th, 2020.
Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.
In this video I show you a flight in Miami, (Florida, USA) from Miami International Airport (KMIA).
It’s a show off of the city, and a flight to enjoy in the simulator. In reality we don’t fly like this, of course.

  1. Finally somebody flying over Miami. Thank you!
Looks like all the bridges and causeways need work. But overall the city looks amazing!

  2. No puedo creer que hasta las propagandas que ves en los edificios de brickell y de winwood salgan aqui, Saludo tuckie que desde el il2 FB no te veo!

  3. I’m concerned about Microsoft’s minimum spec. This YouTuber’s PC is killer, and it still has an occasional lower frame rate, from what I can see.

  4. Alot of this really looks like real life. I could see this Flight Simulator being used in movies to get specific b-roll shots and cinematic environment shots. It looks real enough.

  5. One day VR will become so realistic that you won’t be able to distinguish between the real one and man made one. People will choose to live in VR world, because it will become better than the real one.

  6. I’m impressed and disappointed at the same time. I know we shouldn’t expect perfection but, apartments ON a beach, a melted stadium, crinkled boats, a building that appears to have mated with a large tree… I dunno. Up close, it’s not the prettiest picture. Climb above 300ft however and it does look as damn near close to perfection as you could hope for. I’m from the UK, I’ve visited Miami once and it did make me feel like I was right back on South Beach all over again so that’s something!

  7. As someone who lives here, the realism Microsoft was able to pull off is insane! I can point out specific location that I drive on a daily basis, the homes of people I know, literally spot on. I hope Microsoft leases this technology out to other game developers. Imagine with just a little brushing up we can have «real world» open world games on the ground too.

  8. You flew over my house!!! If I bought this game, would I be able to fly erratically and fly into the ocean or my house or something? Or is it more of a serious game? Looks cool

  9. Try looking at the panel, didn’t you see the flashing red warning light where the tach is located? You were red lining the engine.

  10. Damn, at 5:32 is where I work at, it looks like they didn’t use the updated maps because they are missing Brightline and some new buildings in the downtown/Brickell area. Spot on, I need to buy this game and see if my house appears lol.
