Landing in smallest country of the world: Vatican City in Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe

Welcome, Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review.
This is the release version, 1.7.12.0. on launch on August 18th, 2020.
Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.
In this video I show you a challenge I accepted from “Flaco de Buenos Aires” in comments to a previous video, that suggested me to bring Mate (an argentinian drink) to the Pope of Rome, Francisco, since he is Argentinian too, by landing in Vatican city, the smallest country in the world, which it’s located in Rome (Italy). 😉
Made the landing at first try, exited to MFS menu, but then I remembered I had nod took off, so I gave it a second try and made another different landing and the takeoff, followed by a high flyby to appreciate Vatican City. So you got it, “new airport” opened! I suggest ICAO code VCAN 😉
No more attempts done. 🙂
For this special mission, I had to fly the same plane I fly on reality, mi beloved Cessna 152 in Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell. OMG I failed to put my tail number on it, my fail!

  1. Los del Vaticano: es un ángel caído del cielo, un emisario de Dios…

TUCKIE: No hay huevos a aterrizar en el Vaticano jajajaja

Los demás: el muy cabrón lo hizo

  2. RTX 2080 and not 2080Ti? I have the exact same setup (9900K, 64GB and actually the 2080 Super) and I’m not getting a smooth gameplay as you do. ☹ Great content, BTW!

  3. I live in Rome. In the real life in Piazza San Pietro and in Via Della Conciliazione there are so many barriers, blocks and obstacles to prevent a possible terrorist attack that is difficult to land and take off even with a STOL plane. BTW inside the Vatican gardens there’s an helipad, called in latin language «Portus helicopterorum Civitatis Vaticanae». Try to land there https://goo.gl/maps/1tiszBnJCcqRxage9
