  3. There is no way you did that without adding in power on the way down. You were way too low to maintain that approach without power. No point in practicing an engine failure if you need the engine on the way down!

  5. also, if the engine was at idle it wouldn’t be making that sound. Proper flight training would be less sound and still u dont need your hand on the throttle during descent if the engine was idle!
