Procedure to adjust the directional gyro in a hurricane:
1. Keep speed, altitude and heading constant.
2. Read compass.
3. Adjust gyro with the heading you’ve just read in the compass.
in this video thers’a a slighly deceleration tat apparently does not affect compass, but a quick acceleration or deceleration can vary its reading by some degrees.
